Starting to realize...

My life as a freelancer wouldn't be anywhere near as glamorous as I think it would be.

In my head, I picture sitting in well-thought-out outfits, in cute cafe/flower shop/boutique/gardens [interchangeable settings] and calmly crank out pieces in a timely, efficient manner.

Out of order, and missing in action until the end of the quarter, which is around the corner. UNTIL THEN:

Sorry I've been so absent, blog world! I'm in a T.B.A. state of life, undergoing some much needed changes and bracing myself to enter uncharted waters. Wish me luck!

POUTINE!

So lately, my gluttonous self has found a true love for.. poutine. But how can one NOT love fries, sprinkled in cheese curds and slathered with gravy. YUM. My favorite in Chicago has been the duck poutine (which also has an added ingredient of duck confit) from Fork. Today, however, I'm giving them a run for their money and testing out a poutinerie, a place focused solely on poutine. Let's see how this goes, and how much regret I will have in the morning.
