But Chicago wouldn't be itself if she didn't throw us a curve ball with a weekend of intensely warm weekend of summer heat.

Labor day weekend plans? I wish I something more exciting to share, but it looks like this weekend will be a surprise for me as well. Maybe one last visit to the beach? Or a meditative sunrise hike alone at Starved Rock? (Someone please call me on Monday evening to make sure I survive if I take up this option. [har har]) Or maybe making my quarterly trek to burbia for a visit with my parents.

Chicago is nice, and I love it so, but in my next life... I want to try something new, maybe a quiet life in the countryside? Even though I doubt I'd survive!
